Green Skills for Youth & Women

The Green Skills

The Green Skills for Youth & Women program is a flagship initiative of the Institute of Sustainable Skills (ISSP), designed to build climate resilience, economic empowerment, and environmental leadership among two of the most critical yet underrepresented groups in the green transition: youth and women.

As the world shifts toward low-carbon economies and climate-smart industries, there is an urgent need for inclusive skill development. This program addresses that gap by offering hands-on, market-relevant, and impact-driven training in sustainable careers.

Accelerating the Green Transition of Industry

The Industry Decarbonization Skills program by the Institute of Sustainable Skills (ISS) is designed to empower professionals, technicians, and industry leaders with the knowledge and competencies needed to reduce carbon emissions, adopt cleaner technologies, and future-proof their operations.

This program addresses one of the most critical climate challenges—industrial emissions—by offering practical training and capacity-building tailored for manufacturing, textiles, chemicals, construction, energy, and other high-emitting sectors

Nature-based Solutions & Urban Resilience

The Nature-based Solutions (NbS) & Urban Resilience program is designed to empower urban planners, municipal officials, community leaders, and environmental professionals with the tools and skills to tackle climate change through ecosystem-based approaches.

As cities grow and climate risks intensify—flooding, heatwaves, air pollution, water scarcity—nature offers scalable and cost-effective solutions. This program supports the planning, implementation, and mainstreaming of green infrastructure and resilient urban systems.
