How Climate Café Supports SDG 1

Climate change disproportionately affects the poorest communities—through loss of livelihoods, displacement, food insecurity, and lack of access to adaptation resources. The Climate Café raises awareness and platforms voices of those affected, helping:

    • Advocate for climate justice and pro-poor policies

    • Promote green jobs and skills as poverty reduction tools

    • Empower youth and women in vulnerable areas to become solution-builders

    • Highlight successful community resilience models in low-income settings

How Climate Café Supports SDG 3

Climate change is a health crisis: air pollution, heatwaves, waterborne diseases, mental stress, and food insecurity all harm public health. Through this series, you:

    • Spread awareness about the health impacts of climate in local contexts

    • Promote clean air campaigns and mental wellness in a warming world

    • Invite medical professionals and urban planners to discuss adaptation

    • Educate on climate-smart healthcare systems and solutions
